Trading Competencies As an educator of technical analysis, I am knowledgeable about past and current technical analysis forms – I am a constant student of the market! I am competent and adept at many of the traditional and developing theories of technical analysis. Some of those theories I am qualified to include but are not limited to: Gann Theory, Elliot Wave Theory, Hurst Cycle Theory, Gartley Harmonics, Market Geometry, Financial Astrology, and Ichimoku Kinko Hyo. I am also competent in many of the non-candlestick forms of chart analysis, such as Point-and-Figure, Renko, Kagi/Gann Swing Charts, Range, RRGs (Relative Rotation Graphs), and Line Break Charts. Software Competencies As a trader, my primary charting platforms are Optuma by Market Analyst and MotiveWave. I also use TradingView – as an educator, TradingView is the software I recommend because of its low cost and high quality for new traders and analysts. I am also adept with NinjaTrader, TradeStation, MultiCharts, and MT4/6.
